A collection of misc. events I've done during my tenure at the NASA government base in Moffett Field, CA (Mountain View).

Role: Managed all logistics of onsite events taking place at the NASA Ames Conference Center. Served as a liaison with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, organizing accreditation, managing risk and presenting post-event reports.

5th Annual "Breakthrough Prize" Ceremony (Oscar's of the Sciences)
Hosted by Vanity Fair, Mark Zuckerberg and the National Geographic Channel

Project: The 2017 Breakthrough Prize ceremony was held on December 4, 2016 at NASA’s Hangar 1 in Mountain View, California. Host Morgan Freeman was joined by Vin Diesel, Alicia Keys, Kevin Durant, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Alex Rodriguez, will.i.am and astronauts Mark and Scott Kelly, who presented the Breakthrough Prizes alongside technologists Daniel Ek, Hiroshi Mikitani, Sundar Pinchai and Susan Wojcicki and prize founders Pricilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin and Anne Wojcicki, and Yuri Milner. Alicia Keys performed the song “More Than We Know” from her new album “Here.” The event was produced by Vanity Fair and Don Mischer Productions.

2016 Agency Honors Awards

Event: During the 2016 NASA Honor Awards Ceremony on June 28 at Ames Research Center, NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden presented Distinguished Service and Distinguished Public Service Medals to individual employees who have made extraordinary and indelible contributions to the agency’s mission success. These awards are the agency’s most prestigious and distinguished honors.

Kepler & K2 Science Conference IV

Event: Over the past 8 years, high-precision photometry from the Kepler/K2 mission has enabled breakthrough discoveries in exoplanet science, asteroseismology, eclipsing binary stars, solar-system objects, and extragalactic science. To celebrate the legacy and latest science results of Kepler/K2, NASA invites the community to the 4th Kepler & K2 Science Conference, hosted at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA on June 19-23, 2017.


3rd International Conference on the Exploration of Phobos and Deimos

Event: The Third International Conference on the Exploration of Phobos and Deimos, subtitled The Science, Robotic Reconnaissance, and Human Exploration of the Two Moons of Mars, will be the third international meeting focused on Phobos and Deimos, and on how their exploration relates to that of other small bodies, Mars, and the rest of the Solar System.

The conference will be an open international forum gathering scientists, engineers, space exploration professionals and students interested in discussing the status and advancement of the exploration of Mars’ natural satellites, the investigation of other small bodies in relation to Phobos and Deimos, the exploration of Mars itself via its moons, and the importance of exploring these moons for Solar System science.
